After the two big events our family is planning are over, I am going to go on vacation as my reward.  It’s like having a reward when all your work is finished - like my light at the end of the dark tunnel, so to speak. It will give me the strength to forge on when I don’t feel like it.  I am helping my oldest son plan his wedding and my youngest son plan his senior prom.  It doesn’t sound like much because they’re the men, but my son’s bride cannot help financially or physically because her parents have passed away.  It’s so sad when you think about it.  Her parents don’t get to watch their only daughter get married.  She has asked my husband to give her away and he is honored to be asked.  My husband and I have offered to help out financially but we are really on a budget so we try to make every penny count. Tomorrow we’re going to either buy or get the materials to make the wedding favors.  Then, we’ll use the same plan for the wedding garter. As for my son going to the prom, we only need a few things such as prom favors, personalized prom favors and a prom garter for his girlfriend.  Vacation – vacation = we can do this!  It’s no big deal and then off we go…..where?  You go it, on vacation! LOL
